Mom and Lilly SKG Date #5 "Truth or Bare Fashion"
May she shine like stars in the universe. Philippians 2:14-15 
Our task was to go to a vintage shop, but where can you see more "vintage" these days than the mall? So off we went to the mall to discuss fashion trends over the years. I think we saw just about every decade! We learned that we must express our beauty carefully. We also answered some tough questions about whether or not a trend would pass or fail...is it feminine? Deu.22:5...joyful? 1 Tim.2:9-10...does it hide my "intoxicating" beauty? Proverbs 5:18-19 ...affordable? 1 Peter 3:3-4...honorable to my parents? Exodus 20:12...do I really like it or do I just think my friends will like it? Gal. 1:10... We really had a special time laughing and talking. We ended up at a new store called "Crazy 8's"...maybe because Lilly is 8, and we were feeling a little crazy! She picked out an outfit all by herself that well, was just fun and passed the test! She did a great job! We both really treasure these dates together and I pray that we will always continue on!!
The Power of Beauty...Mom & Lilly SKG Date #4
All the children created a picture of heaven. This is Lilly's picture of heaven. We used the idea of everyone having a different perception to learn some valuable truths.On our Secret Keeper Date #4, we learned that the intoxicating power of beauty is our responsibility. We went to the school art show and then discussed being responsible with how we dress. Lilly said, "We need to be careful to dress appropriately because we might attract the wrong man some day." Wisdom!

Lilly invited Jesus to be her Savior two years ago while learning about the Passover at home. Thank you Lord, for choosing Lilly!
We always told her that when she was ready to profess her faith just to let us know! Here we are again during the Easter season...what a beautiful time!
May we all reflect on our Savior, our sin, the cross, the Resurrection, repented hearts, forgiveness and victory, power, and righteousness through Him! We all need Him...and that is why He came...that God may be manifested and glorified through us...that we may be free and dwell in Him forever and ever!
Heavenly Father,
We pray that Lilly, being rooted and established in love, may have the power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses all understanding, that Lilly may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. AMEN. Ephesians 3:18
