Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

Mr. Tennis aka Coach Mike

Jake enjoys eating out with the team after the matches.

Jacob can't be on the team this year, but he is getting lots of practice. He gets to play exhibition games each week.

At home worship...The Washing of Feet...A Sweet Time!

District Spelling Bee...

We began with a time of beautiful worship and ended with giving God the glory!! WOW! It was a wonderful experience for all! Way to go Lilly! Who knew Spelling Bee's were so fun!!

Just plain tired!

Praying for more snow and napping on his sled!

Passed out from running all day!! Sounds good to me!!

Grandad's new kittens! Four!

Lifting up Aunt Jenn Jenn's Little Emi

WORSHIP HIM!

WE WERE THERE TO WORSHIP AND HOW SWEET IT WAS!!!

The School Sock Hop...

Spirit week at Jake and Lilly's school ended with a Sock Hop! The children had a great time showing us their "moves". I think our children wear the 50's well!!

Lilly's "Little Peep"

Lilly's 3rd grade class is doing a study on Charlotte's Web. She is having to take care of an egg to help her understand ...what true friends do for one another (just as Wilbur offered to be responsible for Charlotte's egg). She is having to care for it around the clock. If it is not with her, then she must find a babysitter or "eggsitter"! This project is right up Lilly's alley...I believe that she and her teacher are kindred spirits!! We thank the Lord such wonderful teachers...they have beautiful hearts!!

SNOW DAY!

These pictures were actually taken by our neighbor Jessica, who is a 15 year photographer for the local paper! Aren't they wonderful! She has won national awards and takes amazing action shots! If you need a photographer for your child's sports she is the one to call! Thanks Jessi! http://www.picsbyjessica.com

It came...the real snow...All four-and-a-half inches of it fell in HUGE beautiful snowflakes!! We haven't experienced snow like this at our home (13years!). It was so much fun for Mike and the children! Okay, I did get a few slides in with Baby Michael! IT WAS AMAZING! Mike says "There are no boundaries in the snow"...he is still searching the neighbors yards for "untouched snow"!! The children had fun being pulled by a four-wheeler down the street! Mike enjoyed getting out his "Flexible Flyer"! He said for a moment he was "13" again...sledding down the street!
I only thought I was a true colonial girl at heart until the power stayed out all night! It was fun playing games by lantern light and huddling close by the fire all night, but all night was looonnng with baby in arms! We broke out the Coleman stove for coffee and pancakes in the morning and were getting use to this new way of life, when the power came on just in time for lunch! YEA! We often take for granted everyday luxuries such as warm water and heat! We are so thankful for a warm home and bed and ALL the extravagant amenities we all have here in the United States!! And Thank you Lord for the most memorable snow!! How could you look at it and not give HIM THE GLORY!!
