Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

Our little boy is growing up...

Rolling around, eating baby food, and still laughing all the time! What a joy to watch Michael Jr. grow!

Saddle Up for the Zipline...

It's Almost GO time! The zipline is up and going! Mike is working on the details as I type! The adult harness arrived today. He working on the brake system for the adults too. Everything works great for the children, and they are loving it!! Mike is also working on the platforms and bridge across the creek. He can work circles around me and has energy to spare! I love watching out the nursery window...they are all having a blast...making memories!!
2 Timothy 1:7

Field Day!! Summer is almost here...

Most schools are out and children are already enjoying their summer break but for us Barrow County folks we still have until June 5th!! So what are we still doing in school...playing! Field Day was alot of FUN! Everyone was soaking wet! John enjoyed the puddles and the girls enjoyed playing with him too...just like his brother! It was neat watching the Jake and Lilly interact with their friends! Lilly is out to win and Jake is all about just having fun! They both had fun in the final balloon toss together!! It was a great way to end the week!

Baby Dedication: Lord, seek Michael as we seek You...

Thank you Lord, for healing Michael's heart in the womb!! He is a healthy and happy boy! We give You the GLORY! May You enable us as parents to provide a loving home to nurture Michael Patrick Jr.'s heart. May he be surrounded by witnesses who love and support him. May we as parents honor the Lord in all we do and say, so that we may guide them Your way! May You continue to seek him and draw him near to You. AMEN.

GA vs GA Tech...GO DAWGS!

Thanks to dear friends supporting a Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Fundraiser at Turner field, Mike and the children were able to enjoy a GA vs GA Tech baseball game...on a school night! Great seats!! Great fun!! Dawgs WIN 3-2!!!

"Backyard Camp in the Making"...

I never knew I married Paul Bunyan! Mike is clearing the way for his extreme zipline with such vigor and passion! I am ashamed to say I walked(hiked):) to the property line for the first time yesterday and stood amazed at the beauty of our backyard! Mike had a vision and it is simply GREAT! He can clear a 250ft path of monumental trees, replace trim on the house, paint it, replace a gutter, take & pick up the children from school, work a job and take the children to a GA vs GA Tech game all in a day!!! He is the man!!!

Mother's Day ...AMAZING LOVE...

WOW! What a wonderful Mother's Day weekend...hugs and kisses, "favorite" things about Mom, homemade cards, poems and pictures, breakfast made by Jake & Lilly, cakes by all three, a lemon pound cake CANDLE, a prayer book, time spent with family and a picnic in the park...my cup overflows!! When I look into the eyes of my children I am reminded of Christ's Amazing Love for me...quite humbling! Oh, if we could be a portion of HIS AMAZING LOVE!
Heavenly Father, Thank you Lord for your mercy, grace and AMAZING LOVE! Bless me Abba Father, as a Mother, to bless others. May I always gently point my children's heart to YOU!

The Piano Man~ Recital ~May 2008

Yes, it was back~to~back recitals this year! Jacob finished strong! This was his third year in piano! He looked and felt like "The Man" all decked out in his dress shirt and tie! Jacob really took off this year being a first time student at Hebron. He was blessed with such a wonderful teacher this year. He performed two songs, "The Norwegian Dance" and "My Daydream" from memory. We really enjoy seeing him share his gift of music!!
Heavenly Father, Let Jacob use his gifts and talents for your glory. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

A True Jewel~ May 2008

Lilly's recital was "Peter Pan" this year. She danced as an "Amethyst" jewel in the treasure chest. She has been a part of this wonderful dance program since she was three years old where they give God all the glory! Lilly really enjoyed being so glamorous this year! She danced so gracefully...we treasure these days...our little ballerina!
Heavenly Father, Show Lilly that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that your works are wonderful. Teach her that she is precious in your sight, and that you love her. (Psalm 139:14; Isaiah 43:4)

Father/Son Camp April 2008

Jake I went on the High Adventure Camp and had a blast!! It was the same camp that Lilly I went to about one month before. Remember? high ropes course, zip lines, drop zone, but it was totally different with my son. It was neat to see Jake interact with the other boys and Dads. Jake was fearless... on our canoe trip, he stripped down to his boxers and jumped from the canoe into the ice cold mountain lake. If you know anything about canoeing, we had a time getting him back into the boat. Big Laughs!! The whole camp experience really got me thinking about our family mission and how Carrie and I need to make the relationship we have with Jesus real to our children. Jacob and I are talking and planning a "Camp Dickinson" which will be a minature version of Camp Highland in our own back yard, where we will point our sons and daughters toward Jesus. I just have this feeling that God is going to use our family in a mighty way and am Super excited about the near future.
