Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

Johnny and Ellie...

She said, "Hold my hand Johnny, help me Johnny". Sooo cute!

Johnny and Ellie enjoy playing together! It will be fun watching them grow up together just as their older siblings have!

Beautiful happy face...into everything!

Sleep here or there...Sleep anywhere!

He'll sleep anywhere if Mama is near!! Here he's asleep while I'm cooking!

Approaching the final lap...

Mike has been up late putting on the final touches of the the basement. He has enjoyed working on this project so much...I think he doesn't want it to end!

We plan on finishing up painting this weekend and the floors go in in two weeks. I say "we", but honestly I haven't done anything! My only contribution will be cutting in the paint to the the ceiling with a steady hand :). Mike has savored this project on his own. I've only contributed to some conversation and ooohhing and aahhhing! Mike really just enjoys learning how to do new things and working with his hands. He enjoys the final product so much more knowing every part and process that it took to get there!

A Fall Collection

As we look at this Fall collection, we are reminded of ABUNDANCE...HIS abundance for us! Thank Lord for all things, in all things!!

"Come let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care."
Psalm 95:6-7

We went on a nature hike outside and around the house to find things that remind us of Fall. The result is the wonderful display tray of FALL! We are enjoying these Fall evenings at home...pumpkin bread, apple cider, rolling in the grass and riding bikes!

The book "The Oak inside the Acorn" by Max Lucado was a gift to Mike...for his vision..."Wild Oaks". We are thankful that he is a 'mighty oak' for our little 'acorns', but even more grateful that our Lord is faithful to grow them too, into mighty oaks that will stand to glorify HIM! Philippians 1:6

Johnny...a little boy that greets you with "I love you" each morning and "Sweet dreams" at bedtime...

"Mom, God is gone, he's not in our hearts anymore." "Why do you say that, Johnny?" "Because the clouds are all gone."

"Look Mom, my legs are long, I'm almost a Daddy!"

"How can a lion flip his tail up on his back?" "I don't know John." "Well someone needs to figure it out!"

"Johnny are you done with your breakfast?" "Yea, Mom, I am not that good at eating like my brother and sister. I am only three."

Johnny...

We are going to start posting Johnny's thoughts/words/conversations at random...or we'll soon forget these savoring moments!

Johnny asked, "Do pigs talk?". I said "no". He said, " Yes, they do Mama, they say the word 'oink'". ~SMART KID!~

His vocabulary is heavily being influenced by a Daddy that works at home..."AAh Man, that's boring, What's up Dude, etc...

Getting on the Floor!

I have always enjoyed "getting on the floor" with my children. It is something that was passed down from my Dad. Their favorite is ."Toppling the Turtle", wrestling, airplane, ...just rolling around!

What is Michael up to?

Michael is growing up sooo fast! He will be 9 months on the 17th! All he wants to do is stand up on everything! He even has learned to climb the stairs (two steps). And yes, he has already tumbled down the stairs! He is loving exploring everything and we love watching him see it all for the first time!!!

"Tennis Weekends"

Mike has been playing ALTA for quite some time now with a team at Johns Creek. We love getting up and out in time to watch him play! He is enjoying teaching the children to play, especially Jake. He is strong enough now to give it some power! John likes to "rally" against the house or with Mom or Dad every chance he gets!! We have tennis balls everywhere and so do the neighbors next door and down the street!!!
