Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

One last LONG tribute to summer!

Summer flew by so fast, but we so enjoy Fall too! ...new memories to be made...

Back-to-school

I can't believe it's Back-to-school already! Boy, was I not ready...haircuts, updated shots, new shoes and uniforms, came at me fast! I was still in summer mode!
The children made it anyway to their first day of school! Lilly was so ready and well, Jake went along! Lilly is student of the week in her class and she is lovin' it! Jake likes having a locker and changing classes this year and said the girls are already back chasing him on the playground! They both have wonderful teachers and we trust that the Lord has GREAT things in store for each of them this year!

Heavenly Father, Turn Jacob and Lilly's ear toward wisdom and their hearts toward understanding. Give them teachable spirits, one that calls out for insight and searches for it as for hidden treasure. Proverbs 2:2-4

Our #1 son has reached double digits..."10" !

Jake and Lilly have had the joy of celebrating their birthdays together! On his family celebration night he chose to go to Provino's for a free meal off the adult menu! We have a great time with Jacob! Jake has grown into such an strong young gentleman this year! With such a calm and easy-going spirit he is always eager to help his Dad with home projects (and zip lines). He enjoys rollerblading, family movie nights and video games with his friends! It has always been such a pleasure to call Jacob our son! May the Lord continue to draw him near as a bold warrior for Christ! Happy Birthday Jake!

Our Baby Girl turned "8" years old!

It's hard to believe our Little Lilly is eight years old! Lilly has developed into a such a lovely young lady! On her family celebration night, Lilly always request her favorite meal of chicken, lima beans and mash potatoes! We are soo enjoying these days together! Every year offer special times with our children, and this year holds no exceptions. We love hearing her stories and her heart! Reading and journaling are her favorite things to do! We pray that the Lord draws her near through His Word. Happy Birthday Our Sweet Girl!

Lord, Rise up a Nation for You!

What we enjoyed most...the sunset on the Mall, WW Memorial, the Potomac River, George Washington's Estate, Mount Vernon and the changing of the guards at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Cemetery. What the children enjoyed most...ice cream and paper airplanes! A most grateful trip to our nation's capital!...All Glory to Him!

Heavenly Father, help us not to look at the things man looks at, but let us see the world through Your eyes and respond to it with Your wisdom and Your love. 1 Samuel 16:7
